KOMU JE DELAVNICA NAMENJENA

Delavnica je namenjena odraslim in otrokom od 13. leta, ki jih zanima oblikovanje z glino in porcelanom ter tistim, ki bi radi občutili razliko med materialoma. Ker je porcelan nekoliko zahtevnejši, je dobrodošlo, da ste z glino že ustvarjali. A brez skrbi. Če ste začetnica ali začetnik, bomo ustvarjanje prilagodili.

 

KAKO DELAVNICA POTEKA

Lahko boste začeli s skicami ali povsem intuitivno.

Spoznali bomo tehniko valjanja s kalupom ali brez in izdelali svoja unikatna »postrežna« krožnika iz gline in porcelana. Izbirali boste lahko med tremi različnimi glinami. Pozornost bomo namenili obliki krožnika, ki bo povezana z namenom in vašo inspiracijo. Po navdihu boste lahko izbirali med prikazanimi možnostmi površinske obdelave dodajanja, odvzemanja in odtiskovanja. Na izdelka bo možno odtisniti tekstilne vzorce, rastline in materiale, zato si jih lahko najbolj nadobudni prinesete. Sicer bodo na voljo v ateljeju.

KAKO OHRANIMO DELO PRIJETNO

Proti koncu delavnice si bomo vzeli 5-10 minut časa za čiščenje uporabljenih orodij, površin ipd.

PEKA, GLAZIRANJE IN PREVZEM IZDELKOV

Izdelke posušim, biskvitno spečem, glaziram in ponovno spečem na visoki temperaturi, da dobijo odpornost in uporabnost. V  2 - 4 tednih sporočim, da je prevzem možen ali izdelke pošljem na vaš naslov za manjše doplačilo. Vse glazure so varne za uporabo v prehrani.

Spring Workshop: "Serving Plates" for Breakfast

WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR?
The workshop is for adults and children aged 13 and older who are interested in working with clay and porcelain and want to experience the difference between these materials. Since porcelain is more challenging, prior experience with clay is recommended but not required. Beginners are welcome, and the process will be adjusted accordingly.

HOW THE WORKSHOP WORKS
You can start with sketches or work intuitively. We will explore slab rolling techniques, with or without molds, and create unique "serving" plates from clay and porcelain. Participants can choose from three types of clay. Special attention will be given to the plate's shape, linked to its intended use and personal inspiration. Various surface decoration techniques, including adding, subtracting, and imprinting, will be available. You may bring fabric patterns, plants, or other materials for imprinting, though these will also be provided in the studio.

HOW TO KEEP WORK ENJOYABLE

Towards the end of the workshop, we will take 5–10 minutes to clean the used tools, surfaces, etc.

Register by purchasing the workshop on the website. If you cannot attend, no alternative date is available, but the spot can be transferred to another person.

Cancellations:

·         15 days or more before the event: 80% refund

·         14–8 days before the workshop: 50% refund

WHAT TO BRING
Apron, creative spirit, and a willingness to create.

FIRING, GLAZING & PICKUP
The pieces will be dried, bisque-fired, glazed, and fired again at a high temperature for durability. Collection will be possible in 2-4 weeks, or shipping can be arranged for a small fee. All glazes are food-safe.
